Prosecco DOCG Day Trip from Venice or Treviso: Cartizze Vineyards and 2 Historic Wineries
This day trip runs through the UNESCO-listed Prosecco Hills with a licensed local guide and a driver, starting from Venice or Treviso. The core of it is two historic, family-run wineries around Valdobbiadene, each with DOCG Prosecco poured alongside fresh local specialties. One stop is a wine cellar of unusual character. Another is the Cartizze vineyards, known for their wine and for the widest views in the area, with time to walk among the vines. The day also leaves free time in Conegliano. The old town has historic palaces, churches and monuments, ancient walls that climb up to the castle, and a main square lined with typical bars and restaurants. Between stops the road stays in the hills, and the guide fills the drives with stories about the history, culture and traditions of the region.
