Maipú is where Argentine wine began, and this private day works through it in four stops, starting with a pickup at your hotel. First comes Bodega Antigal, for a guided walk through the vineyards and the winery, finishing with a tasting of its most representative wines. Next is a boutique olive grove. Olive oils, pastas, gourmet products and natural olive-based cosmetics are all on the table to try. Lunch is at Bodega Manuel Villafañe: three paired steps, regional dishes set against local wines. The last stop is Bodega Los Toneles, a winery declared Cultural Heritage of Mendoza. A guide explains its history, and three glasses of wine come with the visit. Wine, food and local culture fit into a single day. Wineries can change depending on availability, and custom options can be requested.
