Private Half-Day Sparkling Wine Tour from Santiago: Viñamar Tasting and Blue Wine Market
Only your own group rides in the vehicle: no other passengers, and no long detours for extra pickups or drop-offs. The half-day tour starts and ends at your hotel and covers the Casablanca Valley, one of Chile's main wine regions. The first stop is a local wine market with a tasting of several wines, among them a rare blue wine and a chocolate-flavored one. The market also sells handcrafted Lapis Lazuli souvenirs and has alpacas that visitors can feed. The second stop is Viñamar Winery, for a guided visit and an extended tasting of five sparkling wines. Local cheeses, charcuterie and dried fruits come with them, and each wine gets its own story. The drive back to Santiago passes through the Curacaví Valley.

Casablanca Valley
About an hour's drive from Santiago, the Casablanca Valley begins with a local wine market. Visitors taste up to four wines, including a blue wine made from Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and blueberries, and a new chocolate-inspired wine. The market also sells jewelry and crafts made with Lapis Lazuli, a blue gemstone found only in Chile and Afghanistan, and has friendly alpacas to feed.
Casa Valle Vinamar
Viñamar is a sparkling wine producer. This is an extended, higher-end tasting rather than the regular one, with five sparkling wines: Nature, Brut Unique, Rosé, Moscato and Ice. A board of local cheeses, charcuterie and dried fruits comes with them.
