Private Barolo Terroir Day with a Winemaker: Vineyard Walk, Three Tastings, Hotel Pickup (7/7)

This private day with a winemaker is given over to Piedmont wine and the reasons it tastes the way it does. The winemaker explains the terroir and the vinification techniques, and the walk through the vineyard covers how the soils formed and how climate, viticulture and grape varieties connect. The day runs in three parts: • Morning: two guided tastings at family-run wineries in the Barolo area, with a detailed visit to the winery, the winemaking unit and the aging cellar. • Lunch: the winemaker books a table at a typical Piedmont restaurant, paid for directly at the table. • Afternoon: one guided tasting at a family-run winery in the Barbaresco area. The tour is private and can be customized to your wishes.
