Barolo is Piedmont's best-known wine, and this private tour from Turin goes to the cellars and vineyards where it is made in the Langhe and Roero, both UNESCO World Heritage areas. The wineries are selected ones, some of them historic producers, and a local guide explains the flavors and the winemaking traditions behind the glass. Between tastings, the route stops in the small historic villages of the Langhe.
