Pinhão Winery Visit at Quinta da Foz: Cellar, Vinification and Five-Wine Tasting

Quinta da Foz is one of the oldest traditional wineries in the Douro Valley, working since 1872. The visit starts in the winery itself. A local guide walks through the technical steps of the vinification methods used here. The wine cellar comes next, where the top red and white wines and the Port wines are still aged the traditional way, and you see it first-hand. The tasting is the centrepiece: five different wines, plus the estate's extra virgin olive oil. To finish, guests are free to walk into the old vineyard and explore it.
