Peso Da ReguaThe guide was born and raised in the Douro Valley and takes up to 6 guests to family quintas that have made wine for several generations. The aim is that guests feel welcome, as if in a family. The day starts at São Leonardo de Galafura, a viewpoint over the valley. Next is a family quinta with award-winning wines, where the tasting covers Port, table wines and olive oil. Lunch is at a restaurant serving traditional food. A second small estate follows, with a tasting of its wines. The Rabelo boat cruise in Pinhão, on a traditional Douro boat, lasts 1 hour. After it the group is driven back to the hotel.

A guided visit to a family winery: how the wine is made, then a tasting of Douro DOC wines and Port, and olive oil.
