Organic Vineyard Visit and Vino Nobile Tasting with Calamus and Muffato, Montepulciano

This visit is to an organic winery with Sangiovese vineyards in the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano area, one of the most prestigious in the zone. The guide covers organic farming methods and every stage of production, from looking after the vines to ageing the wine. The tour ends with a guided tasting of selected wines. The list includes Calamus and the classic Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, as well as Muffato. Food is part of the tasting: taralli, crackers and bruschetta topped with organic extra virgin olive oil.
