This half-day tour lasts more than four hours and stops at three separate wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Each stop has a tasting of three to four wines, ice wine among them, and one winery adds a cheese and wine pairing. At every winery the staff explain how the wines are made and talk through each wine's tasting notes, so you can look for them in the glass. Lunch is not served, so bring snacks. Since April 2024 the itinerary, start time, routes and specific wineries change daily, and none of them can be guaranteed.

  2. Niagara-on-the-Lake

    The tour stops at three wineries, which can change without notice when a winery has no capacity. Pickup is at your hotel in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake (Canadian side only). The first stop is an estate winery. Two more award-winning wineries follow, with a cheese and wine pairing at one of them. Each tasting has three or four wines, and the tour returns to the departure point after about four hours.

  3. Lakeview Wine Co.

    An example of the wineries visited, and subject to change. A structured tasting of three to four wines, Niagara ice wine included, led by winery staff. The wine shop sells bottles to take home.

  4. Riverview Cellars Estate Winery

    An example of the wineries visited, and subject to change. The estate sits on the Niagara Parkway, with views over the grounds. This is the stop with the wine and cheese pairing.

  5. Reif Estate Winery

    An example of the wineries visited, and subject to change. One of the oldest wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake, with tastings and the story of the winery. The courtyard and vineyards are good for photos.
