The Médoc lies north of Bordeaux on the left bank of the Gironde, and its villages of Pauillac and Margaux produce some of the most celebrated wines in the world. Four of the five classified Premiers Crus of Bordeaux are here. These are more than wine estates. Many of the châteaux are grand buildings with striking architecture, and the route between them is part of the day. You travel it in a 1973 Citroën DS Limousine Convertible, a car that carries the elegance and craftsmanship of France with it. The drive along the Route des Châteaux is open-air and comfortable. Choose a half-day tour of 4 hours or a full day of 8 hours. Either one is adjusted to your wishes and your taste in wine.
