Meet in the car park behind the Margaret River Visitor Centre, on Tunbridge St.
Margaret River
The day starts at a private farm, hand feeding emus and alpacas, then morning tea with fresh scones (jam and cream) and locally roasted coffee and tea.
Guided chocolate tasting
A guided chocolate tasting, plus a look at the coffee roaster and tea producer served at the farm.
Ashbrook Estate
The core of the day is three handpicked boutique wineries, each showing a different style of Margaret River wine. Guests can often talk with owners and winemakers and see the vineyards and barrel room on an exclusive tour. The wineries visited change day to day.
Gracetown
A coastal and nature stop on the Indian Ocean, known for its green water. Dolphins ride the waves with local surfers, and on some days migrating whales may be seen.
Olive farm lunch
Lunch is on an olive farm, starting with a tasting of its olive oils and olive-based products and followed by an Italian-inspired farm-to-plate meal among the olive groves.
Brown Hill Estate
Another of the three boutique wineries. Owners and winemakers are often available to talk about their craft, with vineyard and barrel room tours on offer. The wineries visited change day to day.
Redgate Wines
A further boutique winery stop, with tastings of local styles and the chance to learn about the craft from owners and winemakers. The wineries visited change day to day.
Margaret River
After the tour, guests can stroll through Margaret River town centre using the guide's recommendations for bars, restaurants, live music and gelato. The guide can also help arrange a transfer back to accommodation later at night.
Margaret River Region
The day gives a broad view of the region, travelling between different areas and their own character. The drives pass farmland, vineyards and native bush, and the guide shares local recommendations for the rest of the trip.
