The guide waits in Independence Square, at the corner of Sarmiento and Chile streets, in front of the colorful Mendoza sign, wearing a purple cap with the agency's logo.
Pickup in Mendoza
The day starts with passengers collected from central accommodations.
Olivicola Boutique Pasrai
The first stop is a traditional olive grove in Maipú, to learn how the oil is produced and taste different products.
Maipu
Next come three small, low-production regional wineries (Corbel, Esencia and Viña El Cerno) in the area of Maipú known as "the cradle of wine and olive". Each shows how it makes its wines, with at least 3 wines tasted at each. A four-step lunch paired with wines is served at the last cellar. A vegetarian option exists; vegan and celiac options need 48 hours' notice.
Return to Mendoza
After lunch the group returns to the city. Depending on traffic, the trip from the winery to drop-off at accommodation takes about 1 hour.
