Personal pickup at 8:00 AM, then a chauffeured drive toward the Douro Valley with homemade snacks and drinks served on board.
Pinhao
A cruise on a traditional Rabelo boat along the Douro River. Regional wines are paired with homemade traditional delicacies, and the host shares stories of the valley while the terraced vineyards pass by.
D'Origem
D'Origem is a restored Douro estate with a historic olive press. The visit covers traditional harvesting and extraction methods, and ends with a guided tasting of the estate's extra virgin olive oils alongside regional wines.
Casal de Loivos
Miradouro de Casal de Loivos looks over the Douro River, the terraced vineyards and the village of Pinhão, with Quinta das Carvalhas in view. Guests taste select vintage Ports in the open air, with premium brandy or whisky as an option, and homemade regional snacks.
Miradouro Torguiano De Sao Cristovao Do Douro
A 10 to 15 minute pause at Miradouro de São Cristóvão do Douro, a terrace over the vineyards and the bends of the river, praised by the Portuguese writer Miguel Torga. Time for photos before the drive to a traditional village for lunch.
Private Heritage Winery Visit
Casa do Bucheiro is a historic estate, reserved for the group. The visit covers the original stone cellars and the underground wine tunnel, then a tasting of aged estate wines with regional cheeses and olive oil. Lunch is a traditional meal served at the winery with estate wines.
Quinta Da Pedra Alta
A private visit at Quinta da Pedra Alta, led by an expert guide who talks about the region's history and winemaking. A private jeep covers the lower and upper vineyards, the old stone terraces, a historic granite wine mill and viewpoints that standard tours skip. The winemaker joins the group, lagares and cellars are open, and the visit ends with five wines paired with regional cheeses, smoked meats, dried fruits, charcuterie and estate olive oil.
Teatro Sa da Bandeira
A chauffeured drive back to Porto through the vineyards and countryside, with door-to-door drop-off at the hotel, accommodation or another chosen location.
