Douro Valley and Amarante Day Tour from Porto: Farm Tasting, Tapas Cruise, Fumeiro
A full day that pairs the Douro Valley with the town of Amarante, starting from Porto. Hotel pickup is included, and the route follows the N222 road to Peso da Régua. The farm visit is guided and covers three wines: Port, sparkling wine and Green Wine, with an explanation of how each is made. In Pinhão the group boards a private cruise on the Douro River, served with regional tapas and wines. The last part is Amarante: the historic center, the Church of São Gonçalo, the traditional local pastel and a glass of Green Wine.
