Luján de Cuyo Boutique Wine Tour with Peter Wine Tours and Family Producers
Mendoza's wine country, seen from the inside: small places, boutique wineries, hand-crafted wines and the people behind them. Peter Wine Tours runs the day. Luján de Cuyo is where family tradition meets Malbec. Winemaking here started over a hundred years ago, when Italian, Spanish and French families planted the first seeds. It is the biggest and most important wine region in South America.

Andean Mountains
Vineyards in front, the Andes behind. Mendoza is described as the only wine capital in the world with no sea influence, and the only one where acequias (water canals) still irrigate the vineyards.
Lujan de Cuyo
The biggest and most renowned Malbec region in the world, with over 500 winemakers. Winemaking here started 100 years ago, and it is still local producers, family businesses and hand-crafted wines.
