Langhe and Monferrato Wine Tasting and Cellar Visit at Bussi Piero, Calosso

This visit is run by the owner of the winery, who is also its winemaker. The owner stays with the group from start to finish, so questions about the wine go straight to the person who makes it. The route follows the wine's own order: the vineyard first, then the cellar, then the tasting. Most group tours hand visitors over to a guide or a host between stops. Here the same person covers every phase, from the vines to the glass. The winery sits in Calosso, in the Asti province of Piedmont, between the Langhe and Monferrato areas that give the tour its name.
