Kakheti is Georgia's wine country, and this day trip from Tbilisi crosses it with tastings and several sights. The first stop is Badiauri village, where a local bakery serves Georgian bread and cheese. Next comes Bodbe Convent, which legend places on the burial site of Saint Nino. The site is very spiritual and has strong views for photos. Sighnaghi, known as the City of Love, comes next, with a walking tour and a look at the Great Wall of Georgia above the Alazani Valley. In Telavi, the capital of Kakheti, guests make a wish at a 900-year-old tree. Several wines and chacha are tasted in a cellar before the drive back to Tbilisi.
