This full-day trip from Tbilisi covers Georgia's Kakheti wine region: tastings, a few historic sites and a long look at the valley. The group gathers at the Giant Bicycle Monument between 10:30 and 10:45 AM, and the bus leaves at 11:00 AM. Guides wear red scarves. The first tastings, of wine and brandy, are at the KTW Warehouse. More wine follows at the Vineria local cellar, where a traditional Georgian lunch can be added for an extra charge. In Badiauri Village there is a Churchkhela tasting and an optional bread-making workshop (5 GEL extra). The route continues to Bodbe Monastery, to Sighnaghi, the "City of Love", and to the Sighnaghi Wall, then to a sunset stop in Kakheti. Whether the sunset is visible depends on the weather. The return to Tbilisi is around 10:00 PM, traffic permitting.
