Half-Day Sonoma Wine Tour from San Francisco Hotels with Two Tastings and Sonoma Plaza
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
San FranciscoAn afternoon in Wine Country with pick-up at hotels in downtown San Francisco, Nob Hill and the Wharf, and drop-off at the same place after the tour. The first stop is short, on the far side of the Golden Gate Bridge, for photos and a comparison of the temperature there with Sonoma's. On the drive the guide talks about the history of San Francisco and California and about the wine industry in Sonoma and Napa. Along the way the route passes San Quentin, Mission San Rafael and the Marin County Civic Center, a building by Frank Lloyd Wright. Two Sonoma wineries are visited, and both tastings are included. Sonoma Plaza is visited after the tastings or between them: it is the largest public square in California, a former northernmost point of Mexico, home to the last of the California missions and to about 40 restaurants.
What's included
- Hotel pickup and drop-off
- Tasting at BOTH wineries
