Half-Day Saint-Émilion from Bordeaux: Grand Cru or Pomerol Tasting, Medieval Village Walk

BordeauxThe trip begins with a visit and a wine tasting at a Saint-Émilion grand cru estate, or at a carefully selected winery in Pomerol. Then it moves on to the medieval village of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The village takes its name from a Breton monk of the eighth century, whose followers started making wine in the area. A couple of hours here are left free: walk along the original city walls and climb the steep cobblestone streets. The group then returns to Bordeaux.
