Graves and Saint-Émilion Wine Day from Bordeaux: Pessac-Léognan Château, Picnic, Pomerol
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
BordeauxThis day from Bordeaux compares two very different wine areas. It starts in Graves with a visit to a prestigious winery, where the château's red and white wines are tasted. Lunch is a gourmet picnic among the vines, with local charcuterie and cheeses and château wines. The afternoon is spent around Saint-Émilion. A short guided walk covers the streets of the medieval village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and several of its renowned red wines are tasted. The last stop is a château in Pomerol or Saint-Émilion, where the château host welcomes the group for one more tasting. By the end of the day, the differences between Bordeaux wines are much easier to tell apart.
