Full-Day South Luberon Wine Tour from Marseille with Three Wineries and Lourmarin Lunch
The south Luberon has a Mediterranean climate, and its wines sit between the Provence and Rhône Valley styles. The reds have character and finesse, and the rosés are the gastronomic kind. A wine guide leads the day and explains the winemakers' craft. Cellar visits show how the wine is made. Lunch and free time come in Lourmarin, a picturesque Provence village ranked as one of the most beautiful villages of France.

Provence Wine Tours
The English-speaking wine guide meets the group at 9am at a central meeting point in Marseille and drives a clean, air-conditioned minivan for up to 8 people to the first winery. The morning has 2 wineries. About 1h30 of free time for lunch follows in the pretty Provence village of Lourmarin, then a 3rd winery in the afternoon. The glasses hold reds with character and finesse, aromatic or gastronomic rosés and lively whites. The group is back in Marseille around 4.45pm, at the starting point. The wineries differ in how they work, and partnerships give access behind the scenes, from the winemaking and ageing rooms to the bottling lines. The guide also covers soil, climate, grape varieties and terroir, plus picking, pruning and green harvesting, in a relaxed way.
