Florence Small Group of 6: Boutique Brunello Farm Lunch, Val d'Orcia and Montepulciano
This day trip from Florence is capped at six guests and built around boutique wineries. The centerpiece is a guided lunch and tasting of Brunello di Montalcino, a wine Wine Spectator lists among the best in the world. The route passes three UNESCO sites and the scenery used in the Gladiator films, crossing hills and small medieval villages. A guide stays with the group all day. The country is farming land with an old tradition of wine, cheese, cold cuts and meat, and the day is planned to taste some of it.
