Casablanca Valley Wine Tasting and Valparaiso Heritage Walk, Markets and Elevators

This route links Chilean wine, countryside, local food and cultural heritage along the coast. It crosses the Curacaví Valley to reach Casablanca Valley, where the wine tasting is selected to match your wine profile. The road then continues to the port city of Valparaiso, toured like a local. Stops include traditional food supply centers such as Caleta Portales and, optionally, the Cardonal Market, a good place to see fresh produce from the Pacific and from Chilean farmland. The tour ends at the historic Plaza Sotomayor. From there, the classic elevators lead up to the Concepcion and Alegre hills, for their architecture, colorful streets and natural viewpoints. Valparaiso is a UNESCO World Heritage city.
