Cantina Francone in Neive: Five Barbaresco and Barolo Wines, Museum and Cellars
Cantina Francone in Neive has been run by five generations of winemakers, and the visit follows that history: how grape growing and winemaking in Neive changed from one generation to the next. It begins in the small family museum. From there it goes down into the remuage cellar of the Valsellera Classic Sparkling Wine, then to the barrel-ageing cellar where the great reds rest. The tasting closes the visit with five Barbaresco and Barolo wines from the family's own production, poured in the family setting of the cellar.
