Barossa Valley Small-Group Cellar Door Day Tour with Lunch from Adelaide

AdelaideThis is a small-group day out in the Barossa Valley, run by CP Tours and Charters, with up to 11 travelers per booking. The operator has close relationships with around 40 local cellar doors. On shared tours the driver chooses the wineries in advance, and a typical day fits in four wineries plus lunch. The stops listed below are some of those visited. Pickup is from your hotel or motel in Adelaide at 8:30am, and the group is back in the city at about 5pm. Standard tasting fees at the wineries are covered, and so is lunch. Tastings outside the standard range cost extra. Private charters can choose their own lunch venue and cellar doors.

Langmeil Winery
Arrival at Langmeil Winery at 10:00am, one of the region's oldest wineries. A guided tasting centres on old vine Shiraz, including wines from some of the oldest surviving vineyards in the world.
Chateau Tanunda
At 11:00am the group moves on to Château Tanunda, a historic estate in a bluestone château. The tasting covers premium wines from vineyard sites across the Barossa.
Lunch at Tanunda Clubhouse
Lunch at Tanunda Clubhouse by 12:00pm, included in the tour. A drink to go with it is bought at your own expense.
Ubertas Wines
At 1:15pm, a boutique tasting at Ubertas Wines, which makes small-batch, handcrafted wines.
Rusden Wines
At 2:30pm, Rusden Wines, a family-owned winery known for bold, traditional Barossa reds. The tasting is relaxed and intimate, and closes the day.
