Barolo Wine Day Trip from Milan with a Private Driver in a Luxury Car, Two Wineries

This is a full day of Piedmont wine with a private driver, starting from Milan. A professional driver stays with the group all day in a new luxury car fitted with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The route covers two important wineries. At each one there is a guided visit to the cellars and the production site and, where possible, the underground part of the winery. Two long tastings pour Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo and other wines. A table is booked at an iconic Piedmont restaurant serving local specialties; lunch is paid separately. The day also passes through villages and towns of the Barolo area, and explains the gastronomic, cultural and historical reasons Piedmont is the birthplace of Barolo and one of the world's most influential wine regions. Piedmont is described as an open-air wine museum, where modern Italian winemaking began.
