Waiheke IslandTaste & Graze is a small-group Waiheke tour limited to 10 guests. It opens with a hosted wine tasting at Mudbrick Vineyard, then moves to The Heke for a guided brewery and distillery visit with tastings of locally made whisky and beer. Lunch is at Allpress Olive Groves, among the olive trees, with fresh seasonal produce and an olive oil tasting. The afternoon ends in Oneroa Village, the island's seaside hub, with free time for boutique shops, galleries and local stores. The guide is a local who talks about culture, favourite spots and island stories along the way. Return ferry tickets from Auckland are included.

Waiheke Wine Tours operates on the island. Guests take the ferry from Downtown Auckland and must be on Waiheke by 9:45am. Allow extra time for queues and boarding. Ferry details and ticketing come in the information sent by Viator.
Waiheke Island
The guide meets you at Matiatia Wharf at 9.40am with a welcome board carrying your name. Waiheke Wine Tours hires local guides only. Vineyards depend on availability and are replaced by ones of the same quality if needed. The drive up to Mudbrick comes with scenery and commentary.

Waiheke Island
The Heke, a craft distillery and brewery set in four acres of gardens. An expert leads the tour, with tastings of its whisky and beer and an explanation of how they go from grain to glass.
Waiheke Island
A guided tasting of handcrafted oils at Allpress Olive Groves, with an explanation of how the olives are grown, harvested and pressed on the island. Then a relaxed lunch among the olive groves, with fresh seasonal dishes and a taste of award-winning extra virgin oils.
Oneroa
After lunch you are dropped in Oneroa Village and the rest of the afternoon is yours: boutiques, art galleries, a coffee or ice cream, Oneroa Beach or a drink in the sun. Tour end is 2:40pm, in time for the 3pm ferry. To stay longer, the ferry is a 15-minute walk downhill or a 5-minute bus ride, and the guide gives directions.
Waiheke Island
Waiheke is more than its vineyards. The route passes coastal scenery, green hills, native bush and views over the Hauraki Gulf, with beaches, island villages and country roads, and time to stop for photos.
