The half day begins with a drive along the northern route, with views over the Hauraki Gulf and out to the Coromandel Peninsula. There are two vineyard tastings. Lunch and a glass of wine come at the second one. After lunch the tour stops for the view at Onetangi Beach and, if time allows, makes a short visit to Oneroa village. At the end you can walk back to the ferry when you like, or the guide drives you to Waiheke Wharf in time for the 5pm ferry to Auckland.
