Skilpadvlei Farm
Skilpadvlei takes its name from the colony of tortoises found in the vlei in the 1800s. The Joubert family has held the land since 1917, and fourth-generation Willie Joubert runs it today as a fully operational 78 ha farm.
Neethlingshof Estate
Neethlingshof lies just outside Stellenbosch. An avenue of stone pines marks the entrance and leads to the estate's traditional werf. Founded more than 300 years ago, it has some of the best restored Cape Dutch buildings, and the estate works to keep the surrounding land beautiful.
Boschkloof Wines
A small family-owned vineyard with wide views over the winelands.
De Waal Wines
De Waal Wines sits on Uiterwyk Estate in the cool Stellenbosch Kloof Valley and has belonged to the De Waal family since 1864. Pieter de Waal runs it with nine generations of winemaking behind him, and visitors get personal attention from hands-on management. The wines mix Old World finesse with New World fruit, made from mature vineyards.
