Napa & SonomaA full day in Sonoma Valley wine country with a small group, usually 8 to 12 guests. The route covers three wineries on the back roads, and lunch is a picnic that the guide sets up at one of them. The guide tells stories about local history, culture and winemaking, in a light and easy-going style. At the end of the day, guests are dropped off where they were picked up.

Sonoma Valley
The day begins with pickup from a hotel in the Sonoma area, and where you stay decides which part of the wine region the tour covers. Guests staying outside the winery region can arrange to meet at a general meeting spot. The group visits three back-road wineries and has a picnic lunch at one. The guide shares stories on local history, culture and winemaking. The tone is approachable, not touristy. Guests need not be wine experts, only curious about wine and happy to share the day with a few others.
