Small-Group Yarra Valley Day Tour from Melbourne: Three Wineries, Chocolate and Ice Cream
This is a full-day wine tasting run by a small local company, with a personal guide for the whole day. It visits three of the Yarra Valley's best wineries, plus the well-known Chocolate Factory and Ice Creamery. Groups stay small. Travel is in the company's 8-seater Mercedes-Benz Valante, or in a Toyota Tourbus when the group is larger. The drive from Melbourne city centre to the wine area takes one hour. The tastings focus on cool-climate varieties the region is known for, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Shiraz. The day leaves at 9:30am and returns at around 4 to 4:30pm.
