Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
FlorenceEach rider gets a 50cc Vespa and follows a local tour leader along winding roads in the Chianti hills around San Gimignano, away from the crowds. Other Vespa tours from Florence stay on the nearby hills. This one starts from a base further into Chianti. The day begins in Florence with check-in, then an hour's drive to the Chianti base, where a test drive and safety briefing come before the ride. The route passes vines, cypresses and farmhouses, with many photo stops and views of medieval villages such as San Gimignano. The ride stops at a winery with a three-course Tuscan lunch and a wine tasting. The group then rides back to the base and returns to Florence.
