Chianti Classico E-Bike Day from Siena: Brolio Castle, Winery and Lunch
This one-day e-bike tour covers a stretch of Chianti Classico south of Florence, close to Siena. The start is 20 minutes from Siena, among gentle hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, small stone villages and farmhouses. The route passes Brolio Castle, which has belonged to the Ricasoli family since 1141, and rides through the small village of Villa a Sesta. A local winery is the next stop, for a visit and a Chianti tasting. Lunch follows at a local restaurant in Castelnuovo Berardenga.

Castello di Brolio
An optional visit to the garden and private chapel of Brolio Castle, owned since 1141 by the Ricasoli, a historic Florentine aristocratic family. The castle is also a large Chianti Classico estate and one of the oldest wineries in Italy. The visit is made from the outside.

A small town with character and history, in the southern part of the Chianti Classico area.
