Two departures run each day. The morning tour visits Roussos Winery, the Koutsogiannopoulos Winery Museum and Venetsanos Winery. The afternoon tour goes to Venetsanos, Roussos and Aroma Avlis. At the wine museum, the story is Santorini's ancient winemaking and its protected designation of origin, with vines dating back as far as 400 years. Two selected wineries then pour local varieties with snacks to match. The tour works as an introduction for anyone who wants a first feel for Santorini wines.

  1. Roussos Winery

    Roussos is an old traditional canava, a good setting for wine tours and the birthplace of a new generation of wines.

  2. Koutsoyannopoulos Winery and Wine Museum

    Koutsoyannopoulos Winery holds artwork by Greek and foreign artists in its old winery, which dates to 1861. A modern winery on the same premises carries the winemaking tradition forward.

  3. Venetsanos Winery

    After the group gathers at the meeting point, the tour moves through traditional and modern wineries and shows how Santorini winemaking has changed over time. Each winery pours its own signature wines. Venetsanos winery overlooks the Caldera and the volcanic islands. Its buildings date from 1947 and have been recently renovated.
