Waiheke IslandThis is a private tour of Waiheke Island with its own guide, who knows the local history, the lesser-known corners and the wine. Up to 12 wine tastings at three top vineyards are included. The tour lasts about four hours of the five, with a level of privacy and attention that a traditional group tour cannot match. The guide also adjusts the drop-off if you want to keep exploring the island.

Ocean View Rd, Oneroa, Waiheke Island
Pick-up at the Matiatia ferry. Look for your guide and the Kiwi Connect van. Pick-up from your accommodation on Waiheke is also possible.
Oneroa Beach
Pick-up at Matiatia ferry or a custom location on the island, then up to Oneroa, the island's largest settlement. There are 20 minutes to wander the streets, shop at boutiques and look at local heritage and the coast. Coffee follows, then Oneroa Beach (Long Beach) and the bay.
Mudbrick Vineyard
First tasting, at Mudbrick, with 40 minutes to taste award-winning wines among the vines with views over the Hauraki Gulf. A vineyard expert guides each wine. Venues depend on availability.
Waiheke Island
A scenic drive along the east coast via Ocean View Road and Little Oneroa Beach, with views of the Hauraki Gulf and plenty of photo stops.
Batch Winery
Second vineyard for a tasting of 3 wines with insights and history from the vineyard experts, plus optional lunch (not included in the price). Depending on the day and pre-booking it is Batch, Casito Miro, Stonyridge or Kennedy Point. Venues depend on availability.
Postage Stamp Wines
Third and final tasting of 3 wines after lunch, at Batch, Stonyridge, Kennedy Point or Postage Stamp, with vineyard experts sharing insights and history. Venues depend on availability.
Waiheke Island
The drive back goes through Blackpool and Piritahi Marae (Maori village) to the ferry terminal for Auckland. The guide can instead drop you elsewhere on the island if you want to keep exploring.
