Private Priorat Day Trip: Montsant and Priorat Wines, Olive Oil and Farmer Lunch
This private tour pairs the wines of both Priorat appellations with a tasting of local olive oil led by a farmer. The region lies 100 km south of Barcelona and packs mountains, landscape, history, wine and oil into a small area. Getting there is by train or private pick-up, so nobody drives, and the train is the more sustainable choice. A local guide leads the day. The route can be adapted to the wineries you want to visit or the time you have, including a half-day version. Availability is confirmed after booking. Book with your requested date and the operator will confirm it as soon as possible, or suggest other dates.

Priorat wine region
Priorat is known for ancient wine traditions, with some famous wines dating back to the 12th century. It has two appellations of origin: the qualified DOQ Priorat, covering the historic Priorat territory, and DO Montsant, a newer one. The area lies 62 miles (100 km) south of Barcelona. Its wine country is diverse yet little known, with vineyards full of color and strong aromas, and hidden spots that change with the seasons. The tour takes in the landscape and the wines. The organic olive oil is a tasting of its own, one that may surprise both nose and palate.
