Private Porto Tour to Minho Green Wines and Douro Valley with Chef Lunch and Boat Ride
This private tour from Porto links two wine regions: Minho, the land of green wines, and the Douro. The options run from a half day in the Douro Valley to a full day that adds a farmhouse visit in Minho. Depending on the option, the day features selected wineries, award-winning wines with regional snacks, a typical lunch prepared by a chef, and a 50-minute boat ride on the River Douro past terraced vineyards (socalcos) and historic farms. Each tour is customized by the guest according to the chosen option. Only the services listed under Inclusions are covered, and lunch is not among them. Options with no listed inclusions come with nothing included, and guests can add extra services as they wish.

Lousada
The day starts in green wine country at Quinta Dona Dores, a family producer. The local guide presents the wines and the history of the quinta, and the green wines are tasted with paired snacks. You also learn how the wine is made, among the vines.
Chef lunch in the Douro
Lunch is in a Douro restaurant with a menu designed by a chef, who adds a creative touch to regional flavors. There are three typical dishes to choose from, and each is paired with table wines from a local Douro producer. Lunch is not among the listed inclusions.
Traditional Douro port producer
At a traditional Douro producer, a local guide explains the whole process, from the arrival of the grapes at the cellar to the making of port. You walk from the fermentation tanks to the cellars where the wines rest, and finish by tasting port.
Pinhao
A traditional boat leaves from Pinhão, in the Douro Vinhateiro, and moves slowly along the river. Vineyards run to the edge of the view, and historic farms and green valleys line the banks of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
