This private day from Paris is for groups of 2 to 7 people. It covers three guided visits, in Chablis and at Château de Pommard, and a tasting of 15 wines that includes several Chablis Grand Cru and Premier Cru, plus a plate of local cheese. Departures are guaranteed, and hotel pickup is included. The Chablis area comes first. Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard offers a guided visit, a cellar tour and 5 Chablis wines with cheese. A second Chablis house follows with 5 to 9 wines. At Château de Pommard, a local sommelier leads a guided winery visit and a tasting of 5 wines, a chance to learn the classification of Burgundy's wines straight from the winemakers. Two to 3 people travel in a Mercedes E220 business class car, and 3 to 7 in a Mercedes minivan. The day lasts 14 hours, and the minivan is faster than a bus. 2. Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard

10:15 to 11:30. Visit of Domaine Jean-Marc Brocard, among the vineyards, with a cellar tour and a tasting of 5 wines with cheese: Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru. The staff explain winemaking in Chablis and what separates the three levels.

  3. Maison Regnard

11:30 to 12:30. Guided visit of Maison Chablis Régnard, founded in 1860, in Chablis village. The visit covers winemaking and the classification of Chablis wines, includes the cellars, and ends with a sommelier-led tasting of 5 wines from Petit Chablis to Chablis Grand Cru.

  4. Chablis

12:30 to 14:00. Free time in Chablis village, to walk around or to have a gastronomic lunch that can be reserved in advance and is paid directly at the restaurant. At 14:00 departure for Château de Pommard near Beaune, 135 km by highway, 1.5 hours.

  5. Chateau de Pommard

16:00 to 17:30. Château de Pommard, one of Burgundy's best-known domaines, near Beaune and among the vines. A sommelier leads a tasting of 5 wines from Château de Pommard and Famille Carabello-Baum, showing how Pinot Noir and Chardonnay differ across villages and terroirs. Topics include Burgundy's 5 subregions, the Route des Grands Crus, natural factors in taste and the classifications. 17:30, departure for Paris, 312 km by highway, about 3.5 to 4 hours, with one rest-area stop.

  7. Chablis

Sunday trips add a visit to the local food market in Chablis. Jean-Marc Brocard and Régnard are closed on Sundays, so other Chablis domains replace them with the same number of tastings: Domaine Baptiste, Domaine Céline et Frédéric Gueguen, La Chablisienne and others.
