Private Lyon Day Trip to Beaune, Gevrey-Chambertin and Côte de Nuits Cellars
Burgundy lies north of Lyon and is known for its prestigious wines. This private day pairs historical visits with tastings, moving from Southern Burgundy through Beaune and the Côte de Nuits to Gevrey-Chambertin. A driver-guide leads the day. The first stop is a historic château with an 11th-century wine cellar, where the tasting features Côte de Beaune wines. Lunch is free time in Beaune, with the guide suggesting local specialties. The town's flower-lined streets lead to landmarks such as the Hospices and the Notre-Dame Collegiate Church. The afternoon continues with tastings in the Côtes de Nuits. Gevrey-Chambertin comes next, in an area with famous vineyards such as Romanée-Conti and Clos de Vougeot. The last tasting takes place in a Gevrey cellar, before the return to Lyon.
