A private, door-to-door tour from your hotel in Paris, built around a famous Champagne house and a family cellar. The house is one of Veuve Clicquot, Mercier, Moët & Chandon, Pommery or another, in Reims or Épernay. A guide from the house leads the way through its underground galleries and explains the history and production secrets, and the visit ends with a tasting, included. The second visit is to the owner of a family-owned cellar, who shows his vineyards and pours his best vintage in his living room, tastings included. Bottles can be bought directly from the producer with no commission, and shipping can be arranged. The route also stops in Hautvillers, the village of Dom Pérignon, with its vineyards and seventh-century abbey. Shopping is possible but never required.
