A wine guide who was born in the region leads this private day through the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. The transport is a luxurious minivan, and the guide adapts the itinerary to the guests. The route crosses the Burgundy climates, classified as UNESCO World Heritage. Along it, 10 to 15 wines from carefully selected estates are tasted, mostly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The guide also explains how Burgundy classifies its wines and what a Climat is. Lunch is in a traditional restaurant in a wine-growing village and serves French cuisine. It is not included in the price.

  1. Route des Grands Crus

The minivan follows the Route des Grands Crus, classified as UNESCO World Heritage. The road passes villages such as Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Pommard and Meursault. The Grands Crus plots are close at hand: Romanée-Conti, Chambertin, Château du Clos de Vougeot and Corton-Charlemagne. On the way the guide covers the region's history, viticulture and winemaking techniques, and the Climats and their classification. Two private, commented tastings take place at producing estates, showing the variety of Burgundian terroir. A lunch stop at a restaurant on the wine coast is not included.
