Private Champagne Day Trip from Paris: Reims Cathedral, Taittinger or Two Houses, Lunch
This private day trip leaves Paris by high-speed train, with your guide beside you, and arrives in Reims, the capital of Champagne. From there a private car takes you out through the vineyards. Two versions run on the same day. The Standard Option visits Taittinger Champagne House, with two premium Champagne tastings, and finishes with a walk through Reims to its Gothic cathedral. The Full Option swaps that for two houses, G.H. Martel and Canard-Duchêne. You taste four premium Champagnes across the day, go down into historic cellars, walk among the vines and sit down to a traditional French lunch. Along the way the guide explains how Champagne is made and how the region's history and winemaking traditions fit together. A comfortable return to Paris closes the day.
