  2. DeMorgenzon Winery

Three wines are tasted at DeMorgenzon, which plays classical music to its vines, in the belief that it helps them grow. The estate won an award for some of the best Chardonnay in the world.

    Costo extra

  3. Stellenbosch

A historical tour of Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa. Stellenbosch University is here, with more than 27000 students each year.

  4. Marianne Wine Estate

At Marianne, six wines are paired with biltong, a dried meat similar to beef jerky. The estate holds that biltong brings out the flavours. Its Floreal wine was hand-picked by Chef Gordon Ramsay for Nelson Mandela's 91st birthday.

    Costo extra

  5. Fairview Wine and Cheese

Wine and cheese tasting at Fairview. Fairview cheeses can be bought from the deli.

    Costo extra

  6. Groot Drakenstein Prison

The route passes through the prison that held Nelson Mandela, formerly Victor Verster. The guide stops for photos next to the Mandela monument.

  7. Franschhoek

A drive through Franschhoek (French Corner), known as the food and wine capital of South Africa, with restaurants and wine estates of French influence.

  8. Delaire Graff Estate

The last tasting is at Delaire Graff, known as the Jewel of the Cape Winelands, one of the most exquisite wine estates in South Africa.

    Costo extra
