Owner-Led Hunter Valley Day Tour from Sydney: Wine, Cheese, Chocolate and Coffee Stop
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Hunter ValleyA tasting day guided by the business owner himself, who has more than 20 years of experience. The pace and palate are personal: the day can be shaped around premium single-estate wine with local cheeses or canapés, or around wine matched with artisan chocolate. It starts with a drive over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and a morning coffee, tea or soda at a venue on the Central Coast. Then comes the Hunter Valley, framed by farmland and mountains. Locals call it 'the Hunter'. It is Australia's oldest wine region, with nearly 200 wineries, breweries, distilleries and eateries. Wildlife fans can add a wildlife park to pat koalas and feed kangaroos. An optional scenic train runs from the Central Coast back to Sydney through national parks and river lands.
