This ticket is for cruise ship passengers only. Anyone travelling without a cruise ship should phone the operator directly to book. The bus loops through Marlborough and calls at 25 stops, so nobody has to drive between wineries. Drivers give the commentary, and each passenger gets a simple map and timetable. Get off where a stop looks good, stay as long as you like, and catch a later bus on. The stops include wineries, breweries and museums, plus cafes and a few shops. It suits groups of friends, couples and solo travellers equally. A child ticket covers ages 12 and under.

  2. Artisan Sauvignon Blanc cellar door

    Artisan Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and aromatic wines from winemaker Simon Waghorn, each reflecting a different corner of Marlborough's terroir.

  3. Wine + Food Experience

    Self-guided wine tastings poured from dispensers at Wine + Food Experience. Gin, whiskey and beer tastings are also on offer, and platters come from the cheese, charcuterie and seafood counters.

  4. Seymour Square

    Seymour Square is two minutes' walk from Blenheim's town centre. It has tended flower gardens, a 16.5 m historic stone clock tower and a memorial fountain lit in several colours at night. Soft lighting along the paths suits a picnic or a stroll. The stop is outside the Council Building.

  5. Blue Penguin New Zealand Gifts

    Blue Penguin New Zealand Gifts is a locally owned Blenheim shop, two minutes' walk from the Seymour Square stop (No. 3). It stocks gifts, including New Zealand-made jewellery crafted in the shop's own studio.

  6. Omaka Classic cars

    Omaka Classic Cars shows more than 100 vintage vehicles, mostly New Zealand models popular between 1950 and 1980, plus a few special additions.

  7. Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre

    Two collections of rare aircraft at the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, set in displays with memorabilia and lifelike mannequins made by Weta Workshop. There is a cafe on site.

  8. Brayshaw

    Brayshaw, established in 1968, houses the Marlborough Historical Society, Marlborough Vintage Farm Machinery, the Vintage Car Club of NZ and other groups. Its purpose is to preserve Marlborough's history.

    A locally sourced lunch among the vines at Saint Clair Family Estate Vineyard Kitchen. Saint Clair combines viticultural expertise, Marlborough's climate and soils, and a leading New Zealand winemaking team, and it is one of the region's most awarded family-owned wineries.

  10. Hunter's Wines Cellar Door & Wine Shop

    Hunter's Wines sits in the original farmhouse, renovated in 2017 with its villa character kept. Tastings are served inside or in the gardens. Walk the native garden to the resident artist's studio, or settle in the Cellar Door garden with a glass or bottle and a light lunch.

  11. The Fancy Cow and Marlborough Vintners

    The Fancy Cow restaurant serves Italian food from a pizza oven, with views over Marlborough. Next door, the Marlborough Vintners Cellar Door pours Ant Moore wines, balanced and approachable, made with traditional and modern techniques.

  12. Wither Hills Cellar Door

    Named after the Wither Hills range beside its vineyards, this cellar door works on the belief that fine wine comes from exceptional vineyards. Its restaurant makes a good lunch stop.

    A prestige vineyard known for Cloudy Bay Pelorus Methode Traditionelle. Taste in the sunny gardens, and sample local oysters at the Raw Bar.

  14. Moa Brewery

    Moa Brewery has a patio with a view and a tasting of its craft beers. Founded in 2003, Moa was one of New Zealand's craft beer pioneers and still brews a wide range of beers and ciders.

  15. Jackson Estate Cellar Door and Winery

    Jackson Estate is 100 percent kiwi-owned. It works with low cropping levels, small-batch fermentation, single-vineyard fruit and minimal intervention in the winery, and aims for steady, sustainable improvement each year.

  16. The Runway Cafe

    The Runway Cafe, opened in 2019 by local owners, has a full bar, local and regional food and coffee. Out the back stands an Argosy, the only one of its kind in the world. For a small donation you can go aboard for an inflight experience, 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

  17. Spy Valley Wines

    Spy Valley is a family-owned estate making sustainably crafted, award-winning wines since 1993, including Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The valley also hosts a satellite communication station, hence the name. Artisan platters are available.

  18. Clos Henri Vineyard

    Clos Henri sits in the foothills of the Wairau Valley, on soils shaped by glacial and tectonic forces. It is run by members of the Henri Bourgeois winegrowing family of Sancerre, France, and has been carefully tended since 2000.

  19. Allan Scott Family Winemakers

    Allan Scott offers exclusive wines and gifts, a seasonal menu to eat indoors or out, and a giant chess set.

  20. The Cork & Keg

    The Cork & Keg is an English-style tavern with beer, cider and wine, and a fire in winter. Its award-winning premium ales use New Zealand hops and malt in British, American and European styles. The menu has homemade pizzas, snacks, mains and Marlborough wine.

    The Woodbourne Tavern and Motels, known locally as the Woody, is a family pub and restaurant in the centre of Renwick. Expect classic pub food in a relaxed, friendly room that locals and visitors both like.

  22. Nautilus Cellar Door

    An informal tasting at the refurbished cellar door bar of Nautilus. Guests try four current-release wines from the Nautilus range, including award winners.

  23. Huia Vineyards

    Huia takes a natural approach: biodynamic growing and certified organic, hand-crafted wines.

    The Vine cafe serves fresh food, coffee, lunches and afternoon drinks. Vines Larder has sweet treats, ice cream, local charcuterie and giftware, and Quilters Barn is next door for shopping.

  27. Framingham Wines

    Framingham makes aromatic wines to go with food and was named New Zealand winery of the year in 2018. It planted the first Wairau Valley vines in 1981 and has some of Marlborough's oldest Riesling vines. Have a glass, or join a group tasting with other hop-on hop-off passengers.
