Marlborough Classic Wine Tasting Tour by 10-Seat Van, 3 or 4 Cellar Doors
A driver takes the group between cellar doors in a comfortable van, with vineyards and countryside out the window. The tour visits three or four cellar doors and pours four local wines at each. Everything is arranged and booked in advance. For anyone with a sweet tooth, the chocolate factory can be added as a free extra. Cruise ship passengers: shuttle buses run from the ship to the Picton Information Centre, where the driver waits. Start and meeting times can change because every ship arrives at a different time, so stay in contact.

Marlborough Region
The tour runs in a 10-seater Toyota Hiace van. Between wineries the route passes vineyards and mountain ranges around Blenheim. The group visits three, possibly four, wineries and tastes four wines at each.
Makana Confections
The driver asks whether the group wants to stop at the boutique Makana Chocolate Factory, a free extra. Staff greet you at the door with a chocolate sample, and a glass screen shows how the chocolate is made and packaged.
