Marlborough Afternoon Wine Tour: Winery Lunch and Two Cellar Doors

A relaxed half-day wine tour led by local guides who are keen on the subject. Free pickup comes from Blenheim accommodation about 15 minutes before departure. The tour runs for about four hours and takes in a few premium Marlborough cellar doors. It begins at an award-winning vineyard restaurant and cellar door, with a guided tasting and then lunch among the vines (lunch is at your own cost). Two more cellar doors follow, pouring Marlborough wines with an international reputation. The aim is quality over quantity, and the mood is social and informative. Standard cellar door tasting fees are included. If time allows, the guide also talks about vineyard management and the Marlborough wine industry.
