Healdsburg is a local favorite and arguably the best area for cycling day trips in wine country. The guides prepare a picnic spread and take the group into the vineyards for a session called Grapes 101. The ride covers 10 to 16 miles and three wineries on the quiet West Dry Creek Rd, with small rolling hills and smooth roads that suit any level of cyclist. Schedule: bike fitting and safety overview at 10:00 am, first winery at 11:00 am, second stop with lunch at 12:00 pm, third stop at 2:00 pm, back around 3:30 pm.
