Gastronomic Waiheke Day: Casita Miro Pairing, Olive Oil, Beer or Spirits, Lunch
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Waiheke IslandThe Gastronomic Waiheke day runs on food as much as wine, with lunch included and a cap of 11 guests. It goes ahead with a minimum of 4 people. The day starts on the 10am ferry from downtown Auckland, a 35-minute crossing of the Hauraki Gulf. The guide is waiting on arrival, and the drive to the first stop follows the coast. First comes Casita Miro, a Spanish-inspired vineyard, for a food and wine pairing. Then a tasting at the Allpress Olive Grove, and lunch at a boutique vineyard. The finish is craft beer or spirits at The Heke Brewery and Distillery. The guide times it so you reach the return ferry.
